Macauley's Headland

These are some photos I took from the beautiful Macauley's headland in my home town of Coffs Harbour, Australia.  It was a winter's morning and I got up early to watch the sunrise.  Believe it or not, these photos are completely unedited.  The colours from that spot are just that gorgeous.

As all truth is God's truth, so all beauty is God's beauty.  To paraphrase John Elderedge, we worship the Lord who is the creator, not just the manufacturer, but also the inventor of wine and sunsets.  Jesus, Lover of my soul, how I long to drink deeply, the sweet wine of captivating beauty that my heart craves.  In You I have found not just my salvation, but my greatest and deepest pleasure.
